Seaweeds

Located on the first European seaweed harvesting site in history, Setalg is the leading French seaweed  processing company today; hence perpetuating a local traditional activity.

Seaweeds are mainly hand-collected by our "Goémoniers" (local seaweed harvesters) on the foreshore at low tide. They are then brought to Setalg's premises, washed, dried and sieved within 24 hours.

Seaweeds can then be micronized to increase their efficiency by releasing their minerals and other actives.

According to its composition, each species is different and will be used for specific applications: slimming, remineralizing, toning and detoxifying...
