Setalg is located in the heart of Europe's largest seaweed field with more than 800 different species.
Two phenomena explain this unique situation: Pleubian enjoys a 3 km foreshore. This area is seaweed's favourite habitat.
Moreover, two different currents collide on the North coast of Brittany (Pleubian):
- Cold waters from the North Sea.
- Warm current from the Atlantic (Gulf Stream).
Setalg's unique environment is listed Natura 2000 site by the European authorities. It guarantees the perfect quality of its products.
